Note to clients:

  1. When creating your Jane account, be sure your account is in the name of the client (not the parent, guardian, etc.).

  2. Initial Assessment Sessions: all new clients must book an initial assessment/evaluation for their very first visit unless told otherwise. Please contact us to confirm, if you are unsure.

  3. Therapy/Training Sessions: are for clients scheduling a follow-up session after the initial evaluation/assessment is completed.

- MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION CLIENTS -

For clients who have been injured in a motor vehicle collision (brain injury/concussion) and require SLP support, these services are for you. Services are typically focused on cognitive-communication rehabilitation and may be paid for by your auto insurance.


- INITIAL SLP ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION SESSIONS -

The initial assessment/evaluation is the first step to starting SLP services. It may entail observation and interview, various tasks and tests, completion of checklists/questionnaires and discussion of goals and priorities.


- SLP THERAPY/TRAINING/COACHING SESSIONS -

Together, we target the goals identified during the initial assessment session. Goal progress is monitored on an ongoing basis. Goals are re-evaluated and re-prioritized as you make progress.


- CLINICAL CONSULTATION -

Clinical consultation session after assessment is completed.

Fleur recently moved to London, ON and is looking forward to providing music therapy services in the community.

Fleur completed a Master’s in Music Therapy degree at the University of West England in 2015. Her work is rooted in a humanistic perspective and music centred approach.

The focus of this work is supporting individuals through unconditional positive regard and empathy within the therapeutic relationship. She loves how music is an empowering and creative art form.

Fleur has worked as an MTA for 8 years in Alberta, in community, education and private practice settings. She was also an internship and practicum supervisor for 5 years and also guest lectured at University of Calgary, Ambrose University and Mount Royal University in Calgary.

Fleur is the currently serving on the CAMT board as certification chair.

In 2020 she received the CAMT advocacy award for her efforts regarding advocacy for the profession and regulation.

Kerry is a 2010 graduate of Western University’s Masters program for Speech-Language Pathology.

Clinical areas

She has expansive clinical experience with all ages. Her current focus is uniquely targeted to helping adolescents, adults and elderly clients improve their cognitive, communication or swallowing abilities.
